Piekarski Cuckoo Clock Collection - Its new location and the Piekarski Brothers
Hi Folks
Just to say that the collection has now moved to Waterford, Southern Ireland. I've not been yet, but it would appear there has been a lot of investment in the area and there are various museums to visit. Whether the clocks are set up working or not, I don't know, but I doubt it. Sadly, we lost Roman Piekarski about 2 years or so ago and I knew he wasn't a well man. I remember, maybe 8 or 9 years ago at a Haydock Park clock and watch fair, England, he came to our stall and mentioned the number of tablets he was on. I have no idea what his brother, Maz is doing now, but I do believe he either was or still is into his vintage cars and motor bikes!
About 30+ years ago, I remember being taken to the Nether Tabley Old Schoolhouse where their collection was and, at that time, they had at least one trumpeter clock, but they sold that fairly recently I understand, as they wanted to concentrate just on the cuckoo clocks.

Very well done Gary! Thanks for the link. So, now I know a fair bit more than I did.
